We’ve had a lot of fun exploring Zoodles lately! We kept hearing about it (from many of you!) and finally installed it to try it out. Our 7yo is so happy about that! Zoodles is a safe, secure online environment for young children. It is essentially a web browser for little ones.
When our little gal enters Zoodles from our desktop, she can choose:
- Games, where she’ll find some favorite sites such as Polly Pockets and Disney and she’ll discover new favorites. Zoodles has screened the sites for safety.
- Art, where she can draw and paint on screen
- Mail, where she can view video or text mail from Mama or Nana (see us in the screenshot below? By the way, our little one is using a silly add-on to her video that makes her mouth look huge – she really is not quite so odd-looking).
- Books, where she can read a book, or have a book read to her. Our little one’s grandma read a book via video to her.
This is a screenshot from my parent account, of our little gal’s activity (she’s using an app to make that silly face in the center; you can also see her Nana on the left and me on the right!):
As you’ll see above, I, the parent, am able to access where the child went online, how many minutes were spent at each site, and which subjects were learned. Really, there is too much for me to tell you about, so for more information, visit Zoodles where you can view an introductory video and read the FAQs.
How to Get This Freebie: Visit Zoodles . Note: Zoodles does offer a paid version, but is being mentioned today because the free version is definitely worth looking into.
Created especially for: Ages 2-8
THis is very impressive. I went ahead and purchased the premium content, which was very reasonable.
Thank you for the work and research. Your website is now my homepage.
Awesome, Angie!! Thanks.
Thanks–checking this out!
