I use a product that I buy at 25% strength. I have been offered the same product (at a big discount) at 70% strength. I use this product in various formulations in different quantities.

Somehow I don’t think that this is a simple rule of dividing 25 by 70 and then use the result (35.7%). Eg if I currently use 80 kg of 25% strength, would I then use 80 x 35.7% = 28.5kg of the 70% strength? This does not look right. Maybe I cannot clarify the equation in my mind correctly!!

What is the package factor for spheres in a spherical container ? We assume that the spheres are microscopic compared to the container. It does NOT equal Kepler’s conjecture which is valid for tetrahedral containers only !!

Package factors for:

tetrahedral container = pi/sqr.18=0,78048…

rectangular container = pi/sqr.20,25=0,69813…

spherical container = ???
