Here are some of the historical events you may want to cover this week with your students:
- November 18th: On this day in 1307, William Tell used a crossbow to split an apple in two. The apple was on his son's head. You can read why he had to do that, and more about William Tell, here.
- November 19th: Today is the 147th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address
- November 20th: Today, Mexico celebrates the Centenial Anniversary of its Revolution
If you know of any historical events that occurred between November 14th-20th, please share them in the Comments section. Also, let us know if you find any good lesson plans or other resources for the above dates.
